 At the Green Lens Initiative, we aim to support young people aged 11 to 18. We believe it's really important to help them during these years, so they can become responsible adults. We team up with schools and other organisations to understand what the young peoples needs are. Working alongside the school, we then create fun and useful sessions that give practical advice, guidance, and positive role models through the medium of filmmaking. It's essential that our staff have experience and knowledge of the young people they work with and an understanding of varying needs. 

Bobby Ali, the Founder and CEO of the Green Lens Initiative, is proud to share his own journey. Having faced similar challenges as a young person, he overcame the odds and earned respect in a variety of industries.

Having been part of a BAFTA-winning team as a camera operator and recently served as the lead editor for a mainstream documentary  series that has been viewed by millions, Bobby has built strong relationships with community leaders, school officials, and TV executives, all of whom know that he will consistently go above and beyond.

Outside his creative work Bobby has more than 20 years of holistic experience working with prominent governing bodies on issues such as, education attainment, youth violence and building strategies to cope with ever-changing issues and challenges young people face today. He has worked in a variety of ways, from local community projects to large initiatives funded by the government. Bobby also understands how to provide supportive therapy to help connect with young people who may be difficult to reach. Because of his knowledge and skills, he is frequently asked to help work with young people who maybe otherwise difficult to engage.
