Service Description

This fun and hands-on programme is designed to teach young people the basics of making a film from beginning to end. They can pick topics for documentaries or a short film, that matter to them or ones that the school believes are important. Participants will experience a realistic film-making process, similar to what professionals do, which includes sharing their ideas and planning a budget for their films, all while learning how to shoot and edit to entry level industry standard. Here are some skills they will develop: - Math: by managing the film budget - English: by writing scripts for the documentary/Film - Confidence: by appearing on screen and learning new skills - Interview Skills: by practicing how to conduct interviews - Business Planning and Sales Skills: through techniques for pitching their ideas - Addressing any other needs the school may have This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to connect with their education while exploring important topics that have been highlighted through discussions with the school, which they believe will benefit the students.
